Meet Alex, Owner Since 2011
Always ready to serve.
AA stands for Alex & Alex, a father and son who both work in the business.
AA Garage Doors is a local, owner-operated company based right here in Oxnard, California. Alex has been a licensed garage door contractor since 2011, working on doors and openers all across Ventura County.
When you call, you get Alex or his son, not a call center. We'll tell you what's actually wrong, explain it in plain English (o en español), and give you a fair price before we start. Customers tell us that's why they keep calling us back.
We carry most springs, cables, rollers and remotes on our trucks, so most repairs are done in one visit — often the same day you call, including evenings and weekends at no extra charge.

Where it started
Every business starts somewhere. This white Ford Ranger was AA Garage Doors' first work truck, with the logo and phone number on the door and an old door riding on the rack. The truck is retired now. Alex isn't: he and his son are still answering the phone and fixing doors all over Ventura County.
“Extremely impressed with the AA team! We needed emergency help on a Sunday and were lucky to find Alex and Alex available and able to detect and fix our broken garage. They took us through what they were doing and why. From the moment they drove up they were true professionals. These are the guys to call!”
— Cristina R., Oxnard, CA“I called AA garage doors yesterday after my door ghost opened a second time! They were there in 15 minutes & explained what the problem could have been. That's what it was & I was pretty relieved I didn't have to spend a grip of money. Both Alexs were really helpful, super professional & easy to work with. I'd highly recommend this company to everyone who needs their services!”
— Cathy L., Oxnard, CA“AA Garage Doors were incredible to work with, right from the initial meeting through the final installation. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable about their craft and very understanding of any considerations we might have had. I would recommend them to anyone in need of new garage doors in a heartbeat! Thank you, Alex!”
